2008/09 Regional Schedule
September
Team registration were mailed out on September 12, 2009. On this date, registration packages will
be mailed
out to high schools in and around the greater Kingston area. Didn't
get one? Contact us!
Our Regional Directors, Laura Wilson and Maryanne Sheehy, will contact
all schools to chat about their expectations, this year's tournament, and
to answer any questions you might have.
Schools should get their teams together and start practices this month.
October
Training season opens! Each team is entitled to one free 3 hour
session of training with their registration to the tournament. Our
talented and committed group of trainers will travel to each and
every school to solidify the mandates and techniques of the Canadian
Improv Games.
Contact our Head Trainer Maryanne Sheehy to book your
session.
Note: Training season officially closes February 1, 2010,
two weeks before the beginning of the Regional Tournament. Be sure to
book your training during open season!
November
Note: The the deadline for registration in the Kingston Regionals is
November 21, 2009!
Our official Canadian Improv Games training sessions continue throughout
the month of November. Any extra trainings can be obtained for a small
fee - contact our Head Trainer for more details and/or to book.
December
This year's Winter Workshops will be held the first weekend of December. Registration costs cover fees
for this day long event (8 players, 2 coaches). All teams and coaches
are encouraged to come out to this incredibly valuable day of
workshops. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn a myriad of
techniques, to make new friends with other players from the
tournament, to ask questions, get answers, and get some experience on
stage!
Exhibition Rounds will be held as part of Winter Workshops - stay tuned for details.

February
Whoa, it's time for Kingston's 14th Annual Regional Tournament of
the Canadian Improv Games!
The Kingston regional tournament will take place (prelims and finals)... February 23 to 27, 2010!
After Finals, it's time for the party of the year... improv-style!
Stay tuned for the details of this blow-out for players, volunteers,
and coaches!

Necessary recovery period after a crazy month of improv madness...

AWESOME memories of this year's improv season. Aaahhh.
